We made our mission statement come alive: WeDoSomething Mtl does good things about bad news, so we decided to collaborate with the wonderful Retailles: atelier de papier to offer a workshop that would teach us how to transform bad news(paper) into gorgeous paper.
Montrealers aged 3-53 tore, soaked and transformed the Financial Times, the New York Times, Le Devoir and many other newspapers into beautiful handmade paper. That paper has now become notebooks and cards that support WeDoSomething Mtl’s work. Yes, we’re selling these to raise money for our upcoming projects - it's FUNraising! The project was imagined by Cath Laporte & Emilie F. Grenier to profit WeDoSomething Mtl: we do good things about bad news, and now, so have you.
